We are currently looking for an experienced Associate Veterinarian. You will have the opportunity to join our beautiful, AAHA accredited private practice hospital. Interested candidates should have prior experience working in a companion animal veterinary hospital. We are looking for someone who can perform surgical procedures on an as needed basis including, but not limited to, ovariohysterectomy, orchiectomy/castration, tumor/mass removal, and abdominal surgery, and hernia repair. Knowledge and skills performing dental procedures highly valued. The candidate will need the ability to balance medical and financial priorities with the clients of the veterinary clinic, and educate clients on the importance of vaccinations, heart worm preventatives, flea and tick prevention and other aspects of preventative care. In-house equipment includes in house diagnostics (chemistry, CBC, electrolytes), ultrasound, radiology, critical care and anesthesia monitoring equipment, and fully equipped surgical suites.
