Perimeter Veterinary Center is seeking a receptionist/customer service representative that has the desire and ability to grow into an office manager. All applicants should have stellar customer service skills and a cheerful, friendly demeanor. Applicants should have excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. All of our employees work as a team and are expected to help each other and work towards the same goals each day. All staff members aid in caring for clients, patients, and each other. We have a small staff and job applicants should be very team oriented, enjoy working with others, and willing to pitch in wherever help is needed. We build strong relationships with our clients and spend a good deal of time providing individual attention, so applicants should enjoy those types of interactions.
There will be a lot of interaction with people, some animal handling, a large amount of very detail-oriented work, and lots of cleaning – all team members help keep our clinic pristine! All medical records and schedules are maintained digitally, so computer experience would be helpful. We use Cornerstone software throughout the clinic. Should the reception duties be expanded to include office manager tasks, those may include managing inventory, ordering and receiving products, interacting with sales representatives, running various reports, producing schedules, planning activities, and many others.
