Airport Animal Hospital in Hermantown (Duluth), MN is accepting applications for a 3-5 days/week associate veterinarian. A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited veterinary program and a license to practice, active and in good standing, from the Minnesota Board of Veterinary Medicine are required for application and employment. Your primary responsibility will be providing high quality, professional veterinary medical, surgical and dental services to canine and feline patients (and companion animal exotics if desired) consistent with our practice philosophy and standard of care.
Airport Animal Hospital is a very busy, growing three DVM canine, feline, and exotics companion animal practice serving the Duluth & Hermantown region of northeastern Minnesota for 40 years. We pride ourselves on providing high quality, dedicated, and informative service to our loyal clientele and their pets. We enjoy working closely with several on-site specialist services in dermatology, surgery, and radiology/ultrasound at our hospital on a referral basis.
Our current staff includes 3 DVMs, a practice manager, 2 receptionists, and 9 veterinary technicians. Our hours of operation are 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday. Evening and weekend hospitalized patient care demands are limited but occasionally required as determined by your patient needs. The Duluth community is served well by our local Affiliated Emergency Veterinary Service for weeknight and weekend urgent & emergency patient care.
A base salary will be offered commensurate with skill & experience level and can be enhanced via earned provider product & services production bonuses.
