VCA Canada Vancouver Animal Emergency & Referral Centre (VAERC), is hiring Emergency Veterinarians to join their team in a unique, collaborative environment where medicine and pets come first.
As a member of VCA Canada, VAERC is a rapidly growing Emergency and Specialty Hospital with a robust Imaging Center. VAERC has had a 4 decade presence in Vancouver and we moved to our state of the art facility in July 2016. Our 12,500 square foot hospital is well equipped with the technology one would expect in a specialty medicine practice. Our team continues to grow and **WE NEED YOU**. As our ideal Candidate, you have:
o A valid DVM degree or equivalent, enabling practice in Canada
o License in British Columbia or eligibility to be licensed with the CVBC
o Completed a Residency in Emergency or Critical Care
o Strong leadership skills combined with a positive team player attitude to enable our teams to flourish
o Excellent diagnostic and critical care skills with expertise in ventilation
o Exemplary customer service that builds loyalty and trust with your clients
o Strong organizational skills which allow you to stay focused and work under pressure
o The drive and ability to help train and mentor our emergency veterinarians and ICU technicians.
