Associate Veterinarian - ChicagolandThrive Arlington Heights is seeking a confident, experienced Associate Veterinarian to join our growing team in Arlington Heights, Illinois.
We’re looking for a small animal veterinarian with experience in general practice, preventive care, and primary care surgery to serve our diverse Chicagoland client base.

About You
You’re a confident, experienced small animal veterinarian in general practice who enjoys practicing high-quality medicine while building meaningful relationships with clients and your team. You’re comfortable managing wellness, preventive care, and sick/urgent cases independently and bring strong clinical judgment to each appointment.
It’s preferred if you are confident performing primary care procedures, while also recognizing the value of collaboration and support. You enjoy mentoring others, utilizing your team effectively, and contributing to a positive, efficient workflow.

- Strong experience in small animal medicine (dogs & cats)
- Confidence with wellness exams, preventive care, and sick visits
- Proficiency in primary care surgery (preferred)
- Excellent communication and client education skills
- A collaborative mindset and ability to support and grow your team

Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience with an annual PROSAL full-time range starting at $120,000 to $160,000/year. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Your Experience & Skills
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required
- State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date
- Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible
