My Best Friend Veterinary Center, a privately owned four-doctor practice located in Olivette, MO, is seeking an enthusiastic and outgoing veterinary technician to join our growing team. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional client service and providing high-quality medical care in a state-of-the-art facility featuring digital radiography, digital dental radiography, an in-house lab, ultrasound, cold laser therapy, and more.
We’re looking for a technician who is enthusiastic, outgoing, and strong in client communication. We prioritize candidates with previous veterinary experience and strong technical skills. Ideal applicants will be:
- Skilled in surgical preparation, anesthesia monitoring, and post-operative recovery
- Experienced with phlebotomy, IV catheter placement, and administering treatments
- Knowledgeable in collecting and preparing samples for laboratory testing
- Skilled in taking and processing digital radiographs
- Familiar with DEA and OSHA compliance standards
- Accurate and efficient with digital medical recordkeeping
- Confident and professional in client education
- Available to work rotating Saturdays

- Salary: $19.00–$25.00/hr. commensurate with experience

We realize time spent with family or friends it vital, so we offer 4 or 5-day workweeks, giving you the option of 2 or 3 days off. Not a morning person? Afternoon and rotating Saturday shifts may be a great fit! Our current office hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8 AM–5 PM, Tuesday: 8 AM–8 PM, Thursday: 9 AM–5 PM, and Saturday: 8 AM–2 PM
