Rarebreed Veterinary Partners is looking to add a compassionate and skilled Veterinarian. We are a proud part of a family of four hospitals (Mineola Animal Hospital, The Cat Doctor, and New Hyde Park Animal Hospital and Garden City Park Animal Hospital). This role is for Garden City Park Animal Hospital and can part or full time.

Veterinarian

Garden City Animal Hospital in Garden City Park, NY

B ase salary: starting at $160,000 (based on experience) + production

Plus, get up to a $25,000 sign-on bonus

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Examine and diagnose diseases and injuries of pets (primarily dogs and cats), and treat surgically or medically
• Collaborate within our veterinary ecosystem, and communicate with referring veterinarians
• Participate in ongoing education, seminars, and training to stay at the top of your field
• Complete digital records daily
• Perform dentals
• Administer core vaccinations and counsel clients in proper pet care

REQUIREMENTS

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree
• 2+ years of experience practicing veterinary medicine in a Veterinary Hospital setting is preferred
• Internship training is also preferred but not required
• Eligible to obtain NY Veterinary License
