Our organization is seeking a dedicated and experienced Permanent Associate Veterinarian to join our dynamic team. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art animal hospital, providing medical care to a diverse range of small animals. The successful candidate will have a deep passion for animal science, a strong commitment to the highest standards of care, and the ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field and offers a competitive compensation package and opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Associate Veterinarian, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Providing comprehensive medical care to a diverse range of small animals, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, surgeries, and emergency care.
2. Collaborating with a team of veterinary professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
3. Maintaining detailed and accurate medical records, and communicating effectively with pet owners about their animals' conditions and care requirements.
4. Staying current with the latest developments in animal science and veterinary medicine, and participating in ongoing professional development activities.
5. Assisting in the management of the animal hospital, including scheduling, inventory management, and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards of care.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Associate Veterinarian position will have the following qualifications:

1. A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in small animal medicine, with a strong preference for candidates who are board certified.
3. Excellent diagnostic and surgical skills, with a proven track record of providing high-quality care.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively explain complex medical conditions and treatments to pet owners.
5. A deep commitment to the ethical treatment of animals, and a passion for advancing the field of animal science.
6. Experience with the management and operation of an animal hospital, including scheduling, inventory management, and regulatory compliance.
7. A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
8. Current licensure in good standing to practice veterinary medicine.
