- Veterinary Anatomic Pathologist and Immunodiagnostics Section Head
Description
The Department of Comparative Pathobiology (CPB) and the Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory (ADDL) at Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine are seeking a full-time (12-month) Veterinary Anatomic Pathologist and Immunodiagnostics Section Head. ADDL is a full-service, AAVLD-accredited, NAHLN Level 2 diagnostic laboratory. The Immunodiagnostics Section performs diagnostic tests for antibody and virus detection from clinical specimens. There are twelve board-certified pathologists in the CPB department, with seven participating in the diagnostic efforts of the ADDL.
Clinical Track Assistant or Associate Professor
Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Requirements
- DVM or equivalent degree
- Board certification or eligibility by the American or European College of Veterinary Pathologists (ACVP or ECVP)
- MS or PhD in immunology, virology, or closely related field.
- Two years of experience in veterinary diagnostics with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, laboratory staff, and other stakeholders aligned with the mission of the diagnostic laboratory and department.
