Evening Shift with weekends and holidays | Mission Viejo, CA

Schedule

Full-Time PM Shift
Shift Hours: 4:15 PM - 12:15 AM
(24/7 Emergency & Urgent Care Hospital)

Proposed Pay Range: $20.00-$27.00/hour

Plus Shift Differentials:

• +$3/hr for all hours worked Friday 6 PM - Monday 8 AM

• +$2/hr overnight differential for hours worked 10 PM - 8 AM

About Us

Animal Urgent Care of South Orange County (AUCSOC), a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner, is a fast-paced, high-performing emergency hospital proudly serving our community with compassion and excellence for over 20 years.

As we continue expanding our 24/7 operations, we are seeking a confident and compassionate Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our evening emergency team.

Our CSRs are the first point of contact for pet owners during some of their most stressful moments and play a vital role in delivering calm, professional, and supportive care from check-in through discharge.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients with warmth, urgency, and professionalism

• Answer phones and handle emergency calls with confidence

• Check patients in and out efficiently while supporting smooth hospital flow

• Provide clear communication around wait times, treatment updates, and next steps

• Process payments, invoices, and financial planning discussions

• Support clients through emotionally difficult visits, including urgent and end-of-life care

• Assist with End-of-Day (EOD) reconciliation and troubleshooting

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby and front hospital spaces

• Collaborate closely with technicians, assistants, and doctors to ensure excellent patient care support

• Learn and assist with basic floor nurse support duties as training progresses

Qualifications

We welcome candidates across CSR experience levels, with pay aligned to our structured CSR ladder:

• Entry-level customer service experience encouraged to apply

• ER or veterinary urgent care experience strongly preferred

• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations

• Strong multitasking and communication skills

• Comfort discussing financial options with empathy and clarity
