Description
At Eastern PA Veterinary Medical Center, we believe exceptional dentistry is essential to exceptional veterinary care, and we're expanding our team. Our hospital features a brand-new, state-of-the-art dental suite, equipped with digital dental radiography and a Xoran cone-beam dental CT system, allowing our team to perform advanced diagnostics and deliver precision care to every patient. We are committed to elevating standards in veterinary dentistry, and we're looking for a technician who shares that passion.Position Overview
The Veterinary Dental Technician will support our veterinarian in all aspects of dental and oral surgical procedures. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in advanced dentistry, anesthesia, imaging, and patient advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the veterinarian during dental procedures, including prophylaxis, radiography, charting, and surgical support
- Perform high-quality full-mouth dental X-rays and operate our Xoran dental CT
- Work alongside the anesthesiologist to maintain and manage anesthesia induction, monitoring, recovery, and patient comfort
- Maintain instrumentation, sterilization processes, and dental equipment
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners and team members

REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT) or License (LVT) strongly preferred
- Minimum two years of prior veterinary hospital experience required, prior emergency experience preferred
- Must have a positive attitude and be a team player
