Staten Island Veterinary Group is a busy and friendly small animal veterinary clinic seeking a compassionate and motivated Veterinary Technician to join our team. We are dedicated to providing high-quality medical care to dogs and cats while building strong, trusting relationships with our clients.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Assist veterinarians during examinations, procedures, and surgeries
Administer medications, and treatments as directed
Safely handle and restrain dogs and cats
Educate clients on animal care, medications, and post-treatment instructions
Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas
Qualifications:
Strong animal handling and patient care skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented
Open 7 days per week, daytime hours, must be available to work weekends
Certification in Veterinary Technology (or equivalent experience) preferred
Previous experience in a veterinary clinic preferred
