VetNow Animal Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Swing Shift Veterinarian to join our growing team. This unique role offers excellent flexibility, competitive compensation, and a supportive work environment in a brand-new, state-of-the-art urgent care facility.

About the Role

• Schedule: Only 3 swing shifts per week (3:00 PM – 3:00 AM). Sunday-Tuesday OR Thursday-Saturday. Flexible days of the week, however 1 weekend day is required. You will overlap with our day doctor (6:00 AM– 6:00 PM).
• Compensation: $180,000-$190,000 with 21%+ production DOE. Our doctors have been making production since month 3 of operations. You can expect to bring home between $215,000-$275,000.
• Receiving Hours: We only receive patients until 2 AM to allow for swing doctors to close out cases and records and leave on time.
• Primary Duties: Receiving walk in urgent care cases, rounding with the day doctor on inpatients (typically we have around 2-4 stable inpatients), coordinating transfer of patients to in house specialty departments including surgery, internal medicine, rehabilitation, where appropriate.
• Work Environment: Unlike corporate settings, we are a privately run clinic. The practice is owned by two moms and we care deeply about work-life balance, camaraderie between employees, and promoting a healthy work environment. That's why we only schedule our doctors 3 shifts per week.

Who We’re Looking For

• DVM/VMD degree with a valid California veterinary license.
• Strong clinical skills in urgent care/emergency medicine.
• Compassionate communicator and team player.
• Comfortable providing patient care as a solo doctor between the hours for 6:00 PM - 3:00 AM.
