Ridgeline Veterinary Clinic is a busy, independently owned small-animal practice in the Palm Springs area where we believe you can practice excellent medicine, have a great team behind you, laugh during the workday, and still have a life outside the hospital.
We aren't interested in assembly-line veterinary medicine. Our doctors are encouraged to work up cases, practice real medicine, develop their interests, and keep learning. You'll see everything from routine wellness appointments to interesting medical cases, dentistry, urgent care, and surgery—and you'll have an experienced team around you when a case gets complicated.
We also really like our toys. Our hospital is equipped with digital radiology, ultrasound, endoscopy, a dedicated surgical suite, cold laser, shockwave therapy, electronic medical records, and regenerative medicine options including PRP/stem cell therapy. If there's something new that genuinely helps us take better care of patients, we're usually interested.
Just as importantly, we take care of our people. We want our doctors and staff to enjoy coming to work, continue growing professionally, feel supported when medicine gets difficult, and know that their lives outside the clinic matter too. We've worked hard to create a culture that is supportive, collaborative, and fun—because veterinary medicine is challenging enough without dreading coming to work.
Around here, that might mean dressing up for Shark Week, building a giant shark photo-op so our clients can take ridiculous pictures of their pets, celebrating someone's latest adventure, or finding another excuse to make an ordinary workday a little more entertaining. We work hard, we help each other when things get crazy, and we laugh—a lot.

Ridgeline is located in Cathedral City, right next door to Palm Springs—meaning sunshine, palm trees, great restaurants, pools, hiking, golf, and approximately 350 days a year when you don't have to scrape ice off your windshield. Yes, summers are hot. That’s why air conditioning and swimming pools were invented!
And when you've had enough desert?
Joshua Tree is practically in our backyard. The mountains are close enough for a spontaneous snow day. Beaches, Disneyland, San Diego and Los Angeles are all easy day trips.
You can spend Saturday morning hiking in the desert, Saturday afternoon in the mountains, and Sunday at the beach.
Schedule and Benefits:
Competitive pay: Full-time base pay starting at $140,000/year, depending on experience, plus generous production pay.
Great full-time benefits: 3 weeks paid time off, $2500 annual CE stipend, 401k with match, paid sick time, and health insurance.

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree
Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in California
Strong communication and customer service skills
Commitment to reliability, consistent attendance, and having the utmost respect for your coworkers
DEA license
USDA Accreditation, or working towards completion
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience preferred
