Compensation: $200,000 - $250,000 / year

Animal Emergency & Specialty Center is seeking a Board-Certified Surgeon or Residency-Trained Veterinarian to join our team in Knoxville, Tennessee!
- Diverse soft tissue and orthopedic surgery caseload
- Collaborate with seven board-certified specialists
- Access advanced surgical equipment and diagnostics
- Dedicated 24-hour ICU support
- Over 20 Licensed Veterinary Technicians
- Flexible schedules: We recognize the importance of maintaining a fulfilling life outside the hospital and offer flexible scheduling options for both full-time and part-time surgeons.
As a member of our surgery team, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate on complex multidisciplinary cases, mentor interns and emergency clinicians, contribute to the continued growth of our surgery service, and help shape the future of specialty care in East Tennessee.

Benefits:
- $200k-$250k base salary (negotiable) + production
- Lucrative sign-on bonus

- We pay 100% of AVMA PLIT, Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and state licensure fees

Our ideal candidate:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent
- Board-Certified Surgeon or Residency-Trained Veterinarian
- Passionate about practicing outstanding medicine but also working as a cohesive team
- Strong communicator who models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients

- Storz Ho-YAG laser
- Synthes locking plates

- Intensive Care Unit that is staffed 24 hours a day so that your patient is carefully monitored post-operatively
