Our technicians work directly with the veterinarian, become familiar with the patients and families we serve, and are involved in a wide range of clinical cases and procedures. Requirements
Previous experience working in a veterinary hospital or clinical animal-care setting is required.
Pay: $35+ per hour, based on veterinary experience, demonstrated technical skills, and level of independence.
Candidates should have:
- Experience safely handling and restraining dogs and cats
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both clients and team members
- Good judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to follow medical instructions accurately
- Dependability, punctuality, and a professional attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy clinical environment and manage multiple responsibilities
- Willingness to assist with both clinical and client-service responsibilities as needed
Experience with venipuncture, IV catheter placement, radiography, anesthesia monitoring, dentistry, laboratory procedures, and surgical assistance is highly valued. Candidates do not need to be proficient in every area; training can be provided based on experience and demonstrated ability.
