We are seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our established, privately owned small-animal veterinary practice. New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply! The practice owner is an experienced veterinarian who is happy to provide mentorship and guidance to help a new graduate develop confidence and grow their clinical skills.
The Associate Veterinarian will provide routine veterinary care for dogs and cats, including wellness examinations, preventive care, vaccinations, diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions, dental care, and routine surgical procedures. The position offers hands-on experience in a supportive environment with the opportunity to gradually build independence and develop areas of special interest.

Responsibilities include:
Perform physical examinations and wellness visits
Provide preventive care and vaccinations
Diagnose and treat common medical conditions
Develop individualized treatment plans
Perform routine surgical and dental procedures with mentorship as needed
Communicate effectively with clients regarding patient care and treatment options
Maintain accurate medical records
Work collaboratively with veterinary technicians and support staff
Participate in continuing education and professional development

Requirements
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school
Must be eligible for and maintain a Florida veterinary license
Strong interest in companion-animal medicine and surgery
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and professional approach to patient and client care
Ability to work effectively as part of a small veterinary team
Willingness to learn, accept mentorship, and develop clinical skills
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate veterinary care
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Nice to Have
Previous experience in a veterinary clinic, externship, and/or internship
Experience or interest in routine surgery and dentistry
