 At Bedford Veterinary Medical Centre, this Medical Director role allows you to guide medical standards, mentor the team, and influence hospital direction — without stepping away from patient care. 

 Experienced veterinarians can receive a customizable first-year compensation package totaling up to $200K (based on experience). Choose the structure that fits your goals — a higher guaranteed base salary, a larger signing bonus, or a combination of both.

 This package is designed to be flexible and achievable based on your experience and preferences.

The Opportunity

This is a clinical leadership role — not a desk job.

Your Role as Medical Director
You will:

• Establish and uphold medical quality standards
• Mentor and support associate veterinarians
• Collaborate closely with the Hospital Manager on operations
• Guide case management and patient care protocols
• Foster a positive, accountable team culture
• Maintain an active clinical caseload

You’ll be supported by strong operational leadership so your focus remains on medicine and team development — not administrative overload.
