- Small Animal/Equine Veterinarian
Description
Small town southern living at its finest!
Small animal/equine private practice looking to add 3rd full time veterinarian to the 2.5 veterinary team. We value quality of life and flexibility in scheduling and love that we are a work "family". The practice has 4 exam rooms, surgical suite, dental unit, endoscopy, digital x-ray and ultrasound, large animal exam area with stocks, 2 stalls and powerfloat. Equine practice is limited to haul-in appointments only and is only about 5% of total patients. Work weeks are 4 - 4.5 days, NO after hours emergency, and rotating weekend shifts. Each doctor is provided with their own assistant with excess staff available to ease the work flow. Mentorship is available and encouraged. New grads will not only get the time they need to learn how to be a good doctor, but also the attention they need as well. We believe in team medicine and love to bounce ideas off each other.
The right candidate for us will have a good attitude and work ethic, be a team player, capable of multi-tasking, have good problem solving and logical thinking skills, as well as have an interest in both small animal and equine medicine/surgery.
Compensation includes competitive salary (based on experience), 401K with profit sharing, licenses, dues and insurance, CE stipend with PTO, 2 weeks vacation, pet discounts, and quarterly bonuses based on hospital performance.
