South Belt Animal Hospital located in Houston, TX is looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join our team Medical Independence • Manageable Caseload • Convenient location South Belt Animal Hospital was established with the commitment to provide excellent quality, compassionate care, and life-long health for pets across the community. Our hospital offers full-service health care that includes wellness exams, preventative vaccinations, examinations, diagnosis and treatment of diseases, surgery (including spays and neuters), dentistry, radiology and in-house diagnostic laboratory tests. We also perform routine testing for heartworms, intestinal parasites, feline leukemia test, and other microscopic exams. This is a great opportunity for a doctor who enjoys collaborating, and making a meaningful impact. With new Hospital Management leadership in place and strong support from the broader network, the practice prioritizes a positive, team-driven culture and elevating patient care. More about the hospital: 4 exam rooms with a spacious, well-utilized layout and dedicated doctor workspace Fully equipped surgical suite with cautery unit and designated surgery days Digital radiography + dental x-ray capabilities IDEXX in-house lab (ProCyte, Catalyst, urinalysis) for efficient diagnostics Established, community-focused practice with a loyal client base (“family doctor” feel) Manageable caseload with 30-minute appointments and dedicated surgery blocks No Sundays, no after-hours or on-call requirements Consistent 4-day workweek + rotating short Saturdays with flexible scheduling - we will work with your schedule!
