Our hospital is home to Emergency clinicians and with a Neurologist joining the team we can continue to expand our specialty offerings. In your day-to-day, you will:
- Manage high-acuity emergency and ICU patients, including triage, stabilization, and ongoing critical care management.
- Lead or participate in interdisciplinary rounds while collaborating with Emergency and Neurology team on shared patient care.
- Perform advanced therapies utilizing mechanical ventilation, high-flow oxygen therapy, telemetry, oxygen kennels, and other critical care technologies available within the hospital.
- Support the continued development and growth of critical care services while helping advance patient care protocols and best practices.
- Partner with a rapidly expanding specialty team, including newly added Neurology services, to help strengthen advanced patient care offerings throughout the hospital.
- Engage in continuing education, mentorship, and leadership development opportunities designed to support long-term career growth.
- Collaborate closely with specialty and emergency teams to ensure exceptional case management and patient outcomes.
- Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care.
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations.
- Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning.
What You Bring
- DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for Colorado veterinary licensure.
- Board Certification in Emergency & Critical Care (DACVECC) or Residency Trained in Emergency & Critical Care.
- Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach.
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care.
- A passion for continuous learning, teamwork, and advancing specialty medicine.
