You'll work alongside specialists in Emergency & Critical Care, Cardiology, Internal Medicine, and Surgery in a modern facility designed to support advanced medicine and exceptional patient care. • The anticipated starting base salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $200,000 to $230,000 per year.
In your day-to-day, you will:
• Deliver advanced oncology care to patients with a wide range of cancer diagnoses, developing individualized treatment plans focused on quality of life and clinical outcomes.
• Utilize chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapies, and emerging treatment modalities to provide comprehensive cancer care.
• Collaborate closely with specialists in surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, emergency and critical care to develop multidisciplinary treatment approaches for complex cases.
• Guide pet owners through difficult diagnoses and treatment decisions with empathy, clarity, and compassion.
• Build strong relationships with referring veterinarians through timely communication, case collaboration, and ongoing partnership in patient care.
• Contribute to the continued growth and development of oncology services within a rapidly expanding specialty hospital.
• Support and mentor technicians and clinical team members to create an outstanding patient and client experience.
• Participate in a positive, collaborative culture focused on clinical excellence, professional growth, and team well-being.
What You Bring
• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure.
• Board Certification in Medical Oncology (DACVIM-Oncology) or Residency Trained in Medical Oncology.
• Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach.
• A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care.
• A passion for continuous learning, teamwork, and advancing specialty medicine.
