BluePearl Pet Hospital is opening a brand-new, state-of-the-art specialty and emergency hospital in South Austin, TX , and we're looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician Manager to lead, inspire, and develop our growing team.

Located at 2555 Western Trails Blvd., Austin, TX 78745 , our new hospital will provide advanced specialty and emergency care in a collaborative environment where exceptional medicine starts with exceptional leadership.

• Dedicated Emergency and ICU departments
• Three fully equipped surgical suites
• In-house CT
• Internal Medicine procedure room
• Specialty services including Emergency, Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Surgery, and Cardiology
• A collaborative team committed to mentorship, professional growth, and outstanding patient care

As a Veterinary Technician Manager, you will:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Veterinary Technicians and Assistants.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture.
• Partner with hospital leadership to ensure exceptional patient care and operational excellence.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for technicians while maintaining advanced technical skills.
• Coach team members through performance development, training, and ongoing feedback.
• Help onboard and develop new associates while promoting continued learning.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and implement process improvements.
• Communicate changes in protocols, policies, and best practices to the team.
• Build strong relationships across departments to support a collaborative hospital environment.
• Assist with performance evaluations, documentation, and employee development initiatives.
