Description

Looking to add a Veterinary Assistant/Technician into a busy 2 Doctor practice.

Previous veterinary experience required. Looking to add a positive thinking individual capable of wearing many hats.

The ideal candidate will:

-actively support veterinarians and other staff in daily patient and client care.

-be an active listener, paying close attention to details.

-Prep and monitor patients for surgery, including proficient in IV catheter placement.

-Phlebotomy

-ability to calculate and administer injections

-observe the behavior and conditions of animals.

-actively demonstrate dependability and importance of work to clients, supervisor, and other employees.

--participate in cross-training and willing to work in all areas of the hospital.

-easily adapt to situations that arise such as emergencies, taking initiative, dealing with high volume on the phone as well as in person.
